Hi, To all you chefs out there, are there any good sites dealing with cooking and recipes that you know of? Thanks! Caitlin

Someone gave me this one once. http://www.bvibridge.net/Recipes/index.asp
I'm not much of a shef myself, so i haven't really checked it out all that much. It doesn't seem as though there's a lot there though.

I'm not a chef either, but I like to cook. My grandfather's a chef, and sometimes I cook with him. I'll definitely check this out. Thanks! Caitlin

cooks.com is a good one, too. Has a bunch of easy, yummy recipes on there.

Here are some sites for you to enjoy. I mostly cook Greek food, so most are geared towards that. However, some have general recipes.

http://www.fooddownunder.com
This site can be summed up in two words, absolutely huge! It has food
from all over the world and the Greek section alone is pages long!

http://www.google.com/Top/Home/Cooking/World_Cuisines/European/Greek/
This is a huge list of recipe sites, and some of them look really good. I'm sure if you went to their main page, you could find foods from other countries as well.

http://www.greekrecipe.com
This site has many recipes. It may look
complicated, but it's
not once you get the hang of it.

http://www.eatgreektonight.com
This site has a nice amount of recipes.

http://www.greekcuisine.com
This site has a small number of recipes. It also
links you to greekshop.com

http://www.gourmetsleuth.com/cookingconversions.asp
http://greekfood.about.com/library/blmeasurements.htm
These are two sites for converting from metric to imperial and back. The first even allows you to measure by food type and specific food, and it also has a calculator for general food. The second site is specifically for Greek measurement conversions.
I always use these and they help a great deal.

Good luck and happy cooking.

Here are a few more sites to look at. I'll post more as I either remember them, or come across them.

http://www.gophercentral.com/

This site offers several different kinds of newsletters. As far as recipe newsletters, so far, they offer two.

http://recipes.robbiehaf.com/

This site offers all kinds of recipes, including copycat recipes of some favorites from some restaurants.

http://recipesource.com/

Another site that offers a wide variety of recipes.

You can also sign up for recipe newsletters from Ladies' Home Journal's website:

http://lhj.com/

Ladies' Home Journal offers their own newsletters, and you can also sign up for others from their partnering sites. All of the newsletters offered, both from LHJ and their partnering sites, are list on LHJ's website.
